So I have this little bump on my right pointer finger and it has come and gone for some years. There is no puss or head. It's not painful or itchy, just irritating. I've tried removing it and that failed cause it hurt. And my grandpa whose a doctor thinks nother of it. Is it a wart? A part of my. Natural skin? What is it?? Help!

Sounds like it could be a callus, but there's no way to know for sure, not online. We can't give you a diagnosis. If your grandpa, a doctor, isn't concerned, then you shouldn't be either.

But wouldn't a callus be on my palm? I meant to say this in my explanation but the bump is on the top of my finger near the excess skin on my top bone joint.

Calluses can develop anywhere. I have a callus that comes and goes on the top part of my middle finger. For the most part it's not visible, until I do a lot of writing, then it flares up. I can always feel the bump, but the bump definitely expands when I've been doing a lot of writing.

I also have a calluses on the bottom of my feet, near my big toe. Those are from my years dancing ballet and jazz.

But again, I can only guess that this is a callus. I can't tell you for sure what it is, there's no way to give you a diagnosis online.
