I have dreams all the time that I'm being chased by something and running for my life. I've had them since I was a kid and I'm now 27 yrs old. They are sometimes very vivid but most of the time can't remember. I also feel the presence of something evil while awake during the day. I see what looks like a shadow figure to me moving very fast at night moving between the trees. When I was younger I used too hear a woman's voice calling my name. I'm about on drugs and do not suffer from mental illness. Please help me figure this crap out.

Obviously if you attend church I would recommend speaking with your own pastor... but if not I would have you first look into a full gospel church. Denominations do not technically matter in this situation, but some are better at understanding these issues than others.

I'm not one that puts a lot of weight in dreams... but when they are consistent I believe that may be time to pay attention to them. The spirit world can get involved with our sleep... I've experienced it myself. Generically I would say something has attached itself to you and it is trying to make contact with or at least make itself known. That "something" is demonic. I wouldn't worry about physical harm... it rarely comes to that. It is still a serious problem and one I would try to put an end to.

As I mentioned, it can be difficult to say exactly why it is there or what right it feels it has... it may be reaching out waiting for you to reach back... at which point it would probably gain a good foothold on you. I'm not trying to frighten you... but do take it seriously.

Astral projection is dangerous... it is completely opening yourself up to outside forces. You think you might have spiritual problems now...

I highly recommend you do not attempt anything like that.
