We are trying to conceive again as we lost a baby in December. I’ve been having the following symptoms. Nausea, tiredness, bloatedness, mild period pains, slight tender breasts. My last period started on 10 February 2013, and I am approximately 2 days late with my next period which should have started on 10/11 March 2013.

I’ve done two at home tests and one blood test yesterday but all of them came back negative. I read on a couple of websites that blood tests and urine test can be negative although you are pregnant. Is this at all positive.

Am I looking for something that is not there ?

Also, what else could be wrong with me with the symptoms I am experiencing. I’ve never had nausea with my normal pms symptoms, and my period pains are usually severe. Please help.

Symptoms are not meaningful; only tests are.
Yes, it's possible to be pregnant and have negative results on a test.
But you tested too soon. Wait another week (unless you can afford to test every day).
Two days late isn't meaningful either, no matter how regular you are. Women vary with stress levels, as they get older, all sorts of reasons.
What else could you have? You could be having different pre-menstrual signs than you usually have. Our hormones are often quirky, different. And for something rare - yes, that's possible with anything anyone experiences. But for now, that would be like asking if a sniffle can turn into a rare pneumonia.

Dear Joypulv,
Thank you so much for your response. I just wanted to know whether I am testing to soon.
With my previous pregnancy which we lost, I only found out about 6 weeks after my last period. (Approximately 12 days after my period was due), so its possible that it might be too soon, or I might just be too axious.
