It's not like my parents beat me or neglect me. It's more like a HUGE disagreement. No matter what I do they say I'm wrong I'm being stupid. I'm always wrong. On top of that I can't even were pajamas without my mother calling me a whore or a slut or that I need to stop acting so skanky. I know that it is petty but I can't live here anymore. I cry myself to sleep every night. I need help. I need advise. Please help me.

Wow. Sounds like you have a plateful. Look, try to tone down that clothing to begin with. Wear what you want AFTER you get into bed. You don't state you age but when teens argue with parents, it usually doesn't go in the favor of the teen. You could be completely correct on all accounts but your parents don't see through your eyes. If you give them some slack, they will probably extend some to you. I know that you don't want to here this but it is the truth. You have to find some "middle ground" with them. I am not saying they are always right. No one is always right. But YOU are not always wrong either. As I stated, you don't give your age but listen more... really... listen more and say less. The smartest people in the world speak the least. They are always listening and learning about everyone else. That is the correct way to control any situation. Listen, watch and learn. Good Luck

Where do you wear these PJs and what do they look like? (I have R-rated pictures in my head... ) PJs are to sleep in, not to lounge around in, especially if you have brothers and even visitors to the house. That may be why your mom makes those comments.

I'm in 100% agreement with Handyman. Keep a low profile and do your best to be cooperative.

And you wear them only in your bedroom, then dress in street clothes to be with the family?

Yes. If I wore them out they'd say I look like white trash. And I was raised better.

I and some of the other responders here are OLD (I'm 66) and I was miserable with what I had to wear as a teen, which was pretty much hand me downs from my sister and mother, some of it so old it would have been fashionably vintage if that happened in those days. And we had very few clothes. And my parents weren't poor either, just frugal. That's the way it was in those days. And I got yelled at for not tucking in blouses, or not wearing a slip, or just about anything.
I THINK I hear something in what you are saying, but I'm not sure what it is, behind the little stuff. What is really going on? Is it generally the lack of being able to make any choices and decisions on your own as you grow?

I get to do some things on my own like I get to wash my own clothes and make my own food. So I get to chose stuff. I must admit I like being an indevidual but I also like many current fashion trends. Like the skinny jeans, those half shirts(always worn on top a tank top) but my mother hates everything I buy. I most of our turmoil comes from religious tension my parents are what you would call Christian extreamests. They refuse to let me voice my opinion about church force me to go to a lot of small group things I hate it but they tell everyone I'm a christin too because they are embarrassed. It makes me feel awful.

So you get enough allowance to buy your own clothes? That's something.. I was supposed to get an allowance, but never got it. Mine was taken away for any old punishment, usually months in advance. I babysat to make money.
It sounds like the skinny jeans ( = super tight) and the half shirts over tanks have your mother concerned that you look too sexy, and any parent is going to worry about a child looking either slutty, or worse, going to get you raped. I KNOW girls dress more and more provocatively these days, but that doesn't change how men react.
As for religion.. yes, that's another thing parents feel that they have a right to control. I didn't like it either but it was 'all you kids get ready for church or else' and we went.
Now that I'm old, I do see that my mother wanted to control us to the grave while my father wanted us to gradually make our own decisions as we showed more responsibility. That is the ideal parent, but few parents are ideal.
So you get what you get, and bide your time until you are 18. And then you find out that you aren't as free as you think either, because you have to do what employers and landlords and the government and all sorts of people tell you to do. Good luck!
