I've seen this question at several websites but have never seen a resolved answer. Our washer is for unknown reasons ripping our clothes. It didn't used to do this. Seems aligned properly but I don't know if I could tell if it wasn't. The bellow appears in good condition, no holes or tears. I've read the bellow can cause this, but without any apparent damage, I haven't a clue how to determine it's condition and it looks too difficult of a task for me to replace. Before I hire a Sears technician who will charge me half what I paid for the washer, I wanted to see if I could figure out the problem. We've had the washer about 8 years and I'd rather buy a new one than pay hundreds of dollars to fix the old one unless it's a relatively simple, cost effective repair.
