Partially clogged hot water inlet in the valve of your mixing valve. Valves frequently use a remoceable and a repairable cartrdige. Do you know what model you have? Maybe a picture would help

Take the handle off and the cover plate and you will see an adjustment screw to increase the hot wtaer. It is usually adjusted with an allen wrench

No ajustment screw for temp on a moen single handle faucet. The is a plastic adjustable ring under the handle that is adjustable. However, I would guess you are in need of a new cartridge, or thorough cleaning of the cartridge. Does you handle pull out and then turn left and right for hot and cold, or does you handle simply turn counterclockwise for cold to warm to hot? If the latter, when you get the cartridge out, shake it back and forth and you should hear what sounds like a ball sliding back and forth. If you don't here that, get a new cartridge, and shake it, you will hear what Im talking about. This is the pressure balancing device, and commonly get "stuck" do to sediment buildup. When it gets stuck you will get a shortage of either hot or cold. Simple cartridge cleaning or replacement should fix your problem.

mygirlsdad77 is right on with this one. I would mention though that pulling a Moen cartridge can be a little tough. Be sure and pull out the cartridge C clip that is in many models up near the top of the cartridge prior to pulling. If the cartridge doesn't pull out easily you may want to invest in the puller tool available at most Home Depots for pretty cheap. Oh and be sure and shut all the water off to the home not just the hot side when you do this.
