I am receiving social security disability benefits and have unsecured debt that I can no longer pay and have been served with arbitration papers. Can they take my home, personal belongings, or social security disability benefits to pay for the unsecured debt?

They cannot take personal belongings and you will have to file notice with the court informing them of your social securty benefits. You do not have to agree to arbitration since your only income is SSI in my opinion, they have nothing they can take.

They cannot take your Social Security. Only the Government can.
