I have a 2007 dodge durango I can't get my number one cylinder to fire there is power to the coil and it's a new coil but the wire coming out of the coil has a constant power coming out when it should have a flicker where do I start looking for the problem

That vehicle has individual coil drivers (controlers) for each coil pack. The drivers are built into the Engine Control Module (ECM) and will need repaired or the module will need replace. Power is provided at all times when the key is on, but the trigger comes from the ECM.
Fixing your module is often less costly and even much quicker than replacing with a remanufactured module because all the programming and security are already set up, depending on how bad the module is. Please check my profile and experience.

It's likely a PCM problem--either repair or replace. Shop for price and warranty. Ask a lot of questions and check everything out carefully. It's easy to get burned. I presume you have already checked the connector and wiring and found it okay.
