I have a 2003 civic hybrid. I changed the IMA battery 6 weeks ago. Car ran great until 5 days ago when the red battery light came on. I will drive the car with red light on. The headlights become weak. The controls begin to fail, then the car dies. I will wait 20-30 minutes then the car will start up again. No lugging on the battery at start up. I can drive car fine until the problem happens again. This sometimes happens after one , sometimes after 5 miles. This is a reoccurring problem. Please advise. Thank you

Begin by having the starting/charging system inpected and tested. What you've described sounds like the cranking battery is not being properly recharged and you are actually running the car directly off the battery until it doesn't have enough to continue resulting in shutting things down until the battery recovers, only to deplete it again.

My car started having the same problem, red battery light comes up,
Car finally dies, and sometime later it works fine.
I was wondering the owner of the question, found the reason for this
Problem..
