My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months, and I have many concerns. He is so mean to his mom. Every time I go to his house and she asks him to do something, he flips out and sometimes he'll throw stuff or break something. For example, this past weekend I was going to spend the night with him. Well, something came up and his mom said it wasn't a good time. I completely understood and began to pack my bags. My boyfriend, on the other hand, started hollering and cussing at her calling her names. Then, he kicked the air conditioner vent and broke it. Not only has he disrespected his mom, but he has done it to me several times! He has bipolar and he does not take medicine for it anymore, he refuses to take it. Whenever he is mean to me, he says its because of his bipolar and he can't help what he says... I don't know what to do, I really need some answers!

You don't need some answers. You need to find someone else? Ask yourself if this is what you want in a partner. Then ask yourself if this is what you want in a partner for the next 38 years.
Set your sights higher and get someone that not only treats you better, but cares enough about you to seek help if he needs help. You cannot force him to get that help. But you can make yourself safe by leaving him behind.

This is not someone that you are going to want to deal with in the future. Imagine when he's living with you and gets mad at you... do you want that? And him blaming bi-polar is a cop out and an easy excuse.

You have had a preview of what life will be like with him so decide whether he is worth it. Your answer is simple really Stay and put up with his behavior forever, or leave and have no more of this crap.
Choose the answer that suits you.
Or demand he get help or you will NEVER speak to him again, then pray for his mom. Naw, just pray for his mom anyway and run like hell!
