Why is my 200 amp service some times referred to as 200 amp, 240,230, 277?

Does you panel show 277? The numbers other than 200 AMPS are voltage not amperage. It means the panel is rated to handle those voltages. Some panels are rated 120/208/240 but not 277 which is derived from 480 volts.

If this is in your home it is a 200A, 120/240V service.
