I have GV46L lcd TV, change the main control board, bought from eBay, because
The TV would not switch ON, Installed the board, TV turns ON, Back light comes on,
Checked the PSU and has 5V,12V, and 24V. But the screen display is all pinky red with vertical black line at an interval of about 4 to 5 inches.The menu icons looks blur. Is the fault still with main board or is it the Tcon board?

You bought a TV knowing it did not work but the " easy fix" was to install this one simple part ?

No I did not buy the TV, I bought the Main control board from eBay, as psu was not getting the signal to switch the rest of the required voltage.
