I have Bell Alliant fibre opp system installed with PVR. The system is excellent in terms of speed and picture quality. The PVR also has great features and has a large capapity for storage. However,I have an extra good quality DVD player which I would like to connect to the system if possible. The DVD player not only has storage space, but you can burn recorded programs on to discs. I would like to know how I can hook this DVD player up to the PVR and TV. Also what special cables I will need if this is possible.

I have Bell Aliant FiberOp as well as love it. In your case I would simply hook up the DVD player (I assume it's BluRay?) directly to the TV with the cables that came with the DVD player.
If your plan is to be able to burn the DVR'ed programs to DVD then it might be possible: Transfer Video from a Digital Video Recorder to a DVD Recorder. How to Transfer Video from a Digital Video Recorder to a DVD Recorder. (http://dvr.about.com/od/howtos/ht/htDVRtoDVD.htm)
Assuming they aren't somehow copy-protected.
