We have taken out the screw with no luck of it coming off. We have sprayed it without any luck. My husband is a mechanic and even he is stumped. Any suggestions?

Hi Annette
Click on this link:

Scroll down to page 3 and then zoom in on the parts... screws are under the dome shaped cover. Your husband should be able to figure it out from there... ;)
Let us know how you make out, OK?

If you have remove the screw and the handle won't come off, it is being held on by corrosion.
My suggestion would be to move the handle to the open or on position. Place a small wooden wedge between the handle and the chrome cover, as close to the as possible to the screw hole. Then move the handle to the close position, using as much pressure as you are comfortable with. If handle doesn't come off with just pressure, tap it with a hammer, again as close to the screw hole as possible, while applying the pressure to the handle. The vibration of striking it with the hammer should break the corrosion.
