What choices do we have?

A pencil and string will work. My Latin teacher could do it freehand on the blackboard.

I use the bottom of a glass. Put it upside down on a piece of paper, and trace. Voilą, instant circle.

In other words, you haven't given enough info, also, this is a homework question, so even with more info, you'll have to show your work, not wait for us to give you the answer.

So do the work, we'll review it and critique it, and then you can try again until you get it right. If you're looking for the answer, you're on the wrong site.

Seeing as this was the only info you gave, what part is "which of the following"? You didn't give any options.

Okay, after discussing this with my husband, I realize I may have over thought it.

Your question was:

in geometry, we use which of the following to construct a circle

Your list of options was

geometry

If that's the question, the answer is:

Yes, we use geometry to construct a circle.

Not really a hard question, especially since we only had the one option. :)

Hope that helped.

It could be semi circles, arcs?

No no no no. Read the question.

We were told to pick which of the following we would use to construct a circle, and we were given a list of options.

That list consisted of:

Geometry.

That's the only answer! That's all that was on the list of options. Therefore, that's the answer, and the only possible answer.

Geometry.

So simple.

I think this was trick question. :)
