View Full Version : Why do I always feel like I'm going to fail?

I'm only in middle school and I already feel like a failure. When ever I try and look back at my accomplishments I realize, "I have done nothing important in my life. " lately I have thought that its not even worth living anymore because I have screwed up so much in my life already. About a week ago I cut myself for the first time (nothing big). I feel like I'm failing my classes even though I'm a honor roll student. I get so mad when I get an A or A- on a test because I know I could have got an A+. I barely sleep anymore because of my anxiety and over the summer I was diagnosed with OCD. I barely do anything anymore because I am constantly studying and I have no friends or social life anymore because I'm scared to go anywhere and embarrass myself. I used to be so happy and now I just don't care anymore.

First basic question - how is your OCD being treated?

Have you talked to your school counselor? Who diagnosed your OCD?
