I want to purchase a house from my aunt that owns the home in full. (Ive been living there and fixing things for a year) So to get it without having to make expensive updates to the home, we want to add me to the title, wait six months, then I refinance to pay her off, and quit claim her off the title after she's paid in full. What paper do I need to file to put me on the title?

She has to go with you to her town hall and get the form for a new deed.
You have to qualify for enough to buy her out, so talk to some lenders, or go to lendingtree.com. Otherwise she is taking a huge risk putting you on the deed, and the way the owners are worded on the deed is critical for her sake too. She should hire a lawyer, for her sake, not so much yours. You are making a promise you might not be able to keep. In fact you could die or something before the 6 months are up. So see a lawyer. It won't cost much.

Why do you think doing that is going to help anything?

If I was her I wouldn't get my name on anything someone else has a hand in.. family or not.

Yeah smoothy I was reluctant to say what I said, but feel that I have to give him the benefit of the doubt that he Will Do The Right Thing.

What kind of expensive updates are you talking about and what do they have to do with you purchasing the home? Why can't you purchase the home without the updates having been done first?

This doesn't make any sense at all. Why do you, or she, imagine you have to be on the title for six months before you can get mortgage financing?
