How should my husband be treated for a yeast infection I have passed on to him?

By a doctor.

Ouch! Yeah, he needs a doctor.

Women self-treat all the time with drugs like Monistat, OTC.
Men CAN self treat, but it's tricky.
Here's what I got from one site:

It is common for a man and woman to pass yeast back and forth, so abstinence for quite a while would be a good idea, and cheaper than a lot of drugs.
