Oky I'm 16... I know I know I know... but I haven't had my cycle for about 3/4 months. Me and my boyfriend started having sex for 1month . After our first time he told me he ejaculated in me and several times after that. I started to have a few symptoms like I had started spotting and cramping, I've been very grumpy, my friends say that I'm acting different, like being bipolar and just recently I've gotten sore throat and been coughing up yellow coal. I took a pregancy test 2 almost 3 weeks after we had sex but it came back negative. But this Monday I started bleeding heavy like my cycle was on and a lot of people told me that doesn't mean any thing. I'm still having doubts and I need some major help .

Moved to pregnancy.

There are normally NO signs what so ever till you miss your first period.

And no way to know if you are pregnant till you miss one.

When is your next period due

All you can do now is take a test using first morning urine.

Is the results going to be accurate since I haven't had a cycle in like 4 months??

They should be accurate. Be sure to use first morning urine for best accuracy.

The only back up plans would be to make an appointment with a doctor.

... which you should be doing anyway simply for the "yellow coal" that you are hacking up. Sounds like you have something that needs to be checked out.

I'd sit down and figure out the exact dates of everything to the best of your ability. Honestly, it could have been a miscarriage when you bled. I don't want to scare you, but I've had a miscarriage and it sounds like what happened to me. However, it might not have been that. It could just be that you have very irregular/heavy periods. I would definitely contact a gynecologist and see what they say. Good luck.

And by the way, there most definitely are signs before you miss your period. Breast pain/tenderness, mild cramping, implantation bleeding for some, low back pain, nausea, fatigue... I've had those before my miscarriage and before I had my 4 year old. Here is a list of the top TEN signs BEFORE a missed period.

The draw back to signs is that not everyone has them... and some that do only think they have them. They convince themselves that they have them. Also, many of the signs can be linked to other problems as well. Signs are not a definite answer so they should not be held too high.

As a registered nurse, I can tell you that the FIRST symptom of pregnancy is a missed period.

Every one of the symptoms you listed are ALSO the symptoms of PMS. I know--I get them every month.

The FIRST sign of pregnancy is a missed period. Those early signs could be signs of almost anything, including an impending period.

I never said it's definitely a sign that you are pregnant, I'm saying that they are definitely symptoms of pregnancy that you can have before you miss your period.

And adding... but they cannot be used to really determine if you are pregnant or not.

Just like a missed period doesn't mean that you're pregnant, either. Pregnancy and PMS symptoms can be alike, obviously. I was just stating that you can actually have pregnancy symptoms before a missed period even happens. I don't understand why this word game needs to be played but okay. I just feel like I joined the wrong site. Regardless, I wish you the best on your situation, ToriP. Keep me informed :)

Nobody is playing a word game except for you. We try to be accurate here but the post you gave made it seem like you can count on symptoms to tell you before anything else. That is not the case and that is what we are trying to get across to the OP.

I understand that you probably were not trying to make it seem that way but that is how it came off... to me anyway.

Wow. Well, I was just being honest and sharing my experience, and the experience of most other women, who do have pregnancy symptoms before a period is even due. They might not all have known that they were pregnancy symptoms at the time, but if they were in fact pregnant and did have any of those 'period-like-symptoms', then they were actually early pregnancy symptoms. Anyway, I am not trying to tell someone that if they have those signs that they are definitely pregnant. I wasn't even talking about her symptoms other than the actual blood she had. I was talking to the first person who mentioned that you can not get pregnancy symptoms before a missed period. I just didn't want it to be said that you can't feel any symptoms before a missed period when I know first hand that you completely can. I wasn't saying anyone IS pregnant if they experience those things. I simply said that you can have early pregnancy symptoms IF you're pregnant, before a missed period. So, I'm definitely not playing a word game... All I say is being taken out of context because I clearly, and repeatedly, state that I'm only saying if you're pregnant that you can have symptoms early. Annnnnyway, take care. God bless.

Really?. you are aware that theories fall apart when they aren't consistent. And They aren't fact usless they ARE consistent... repeatible... and provable.

"Definately" means "always" or "Certainly"... and the reality is even "sometimes" is a stretch as most so-called "Symptoms" are really not special to, related to or even associated with Pregnancy.

Hell... except for periods... and missing them, changes in the nipple area and something growing in the womb... MEN actually have some of these symptoms from time to time. As they are associated with non-pregnancy related issues that are not unique to a specific gender.
