My compaq laptop keyboard is not working. But the function keys are working

Check to see if "Filter Keys" is turned on. If it is, turn it off. You can find the option under "Ease of Access Center" in the control panel.

Hit fn key at bottom left of keyboard and the function key at the top of keyboard that has a picture of a keyboard on it
