My new kitchen faucet doesn't turn off when sprayer's on. My installer says it's OK, but I want more power in the sprayer. How do I get it?
Thanks, M.A.

Hi Mrsrepair

It really shouldn't happen, but I have seen this issue with some new faucets the last few years or so. I can't be 100% sure if your faucet is one that does it or not, but I can tell you that if you call the manufacturer of the faucet and talk to the people in the TECHNICAL SERVICE department they should be able to tell you if this is correct or not for their faucet.

If it is not correct they may send you a new SPRAY DIVERTER or perhaps a new faucet, but the plumber would need to be paid something to change this out and this should also be on the faucet company if they really want to stand behind their product (don't hold your breath for this)!

Let me know what happens, OK?
