Has anyone had almost identical problems to those with invisible mite infestations except the insects can be much larger and seem to fly or jump very fast? They had me questioning my sanity (and everyone else as well) until I caught them on a night vision camera! One of the traits they seem to possess is that they seem to be able to generate light in fast bright flashes, like lightening bugs but the flash is very smalll and fast, less than a second. Sometimes the carpet sort of glows and move at nigt. But the large ones don't die! I spray them with everything and nothing works. I beat with a hammer when I see them just under the surface mterial of a chair and sofa and they seem to just burrow away. If I attack them out of frustration, they attack right back with relentless bites - and I can't see them coming...

A picture would help but other than that, what you describe is something that I have never heard of.
The part about them attacking you back gets to me... bugs... insects... they don't have real brains... they can't really think or reason. They don't seek revenge or attack out of anger and retreat as you are describing. They don't stalk... has anyone else seen these bugs that you're talking about or is it just you?

As I have said many times, you cannot solve a problem until you identify it. A photo, even from a phone, will be very helpful in convincing people in your life and on the internet that there are organisms causing these incidents. On first reading, I thought of the spots in ones' eyes from standing up too fast, which I'm told is related to blood pressure.
If you can't get a photo, rule out other environmental factors that could cause some or all of the problems you've experienced. At the top of this subject is a list of some other environmental factors.
