So I got my 4year old dane/Mastiff mix who is 116lbs spayed on 2-13-13 it is now 6days after spaying and she still won't eat.She is taking Cephalexin because she was on the table for 1 1/3 hrs due to she was bleeding and they couldn't find where from (her incision site is from her belly button to her vagina and she has 7 stitches) Anyway when she got home she was fine slept all day .the next day she ate a tiny bit of food but now water.day 2 she started drinking but stop eating so I mixed some cheese with her food and she ate it. But after that she won't eat I noticed that she was starting to nest and carry her toys around and producing milk and whining a lot so I knew she was going through a false pregnancy I called vet and she said it does happen to some dogs who have already went through false pregnancy before(that is why we got her fixed in the first place) so I went out and got some can food for her ( she loves can food never says no to it) but she just sniffed it but won't eat it. I am taking small amounts of food in my hand and putting it in her mouth to make her eat something (she will swallow it). I don't know what to do! If anyone has any advice please please help me! Ps.I was given pain pills but there gone already.

You need to ask the Vet - if she is such severe pain that she has no appetite you obviously need to get more pain pills. I don't understand your "pain pills are gone" statement. She's in pain, and you haven't attempted to get more medication for her?

The antibiotics could be making her sick to her stomach.

What does the Vet say about this?

Is she drinking water?

Sometimes the antibiotics cause upset tummies. Instead if just stopping them, call your vet and see what they advise. They may change the type of antibiotic of may just have you stop giving them to her
