Why is it that Samsung's Chat Help Line doesn't give any advice because of your carrier being Straight Talk ?
Their same name is on my cell phone as it is on the same model from Verizon.

Straight Talk is Walmarts problem. Samsung makes some phones for them but it is probably something you need to bring up with Walmart... or try the chat again and you may get someone willing to help.

Customer support for cell phones is first handled by the carrier. This is because most problems are software related, not hardware related. And even some that are hardware related can be handled by the carrier's support.

If you talk to the carrier's help desk and it is hardware related and you need to talk to the manufacturer they will refer you.
