I have a roommate whose friends are constantly over in our place. I'm a student (she's not) and I always study in uni library, but lately I have some healt issues so I'm forced to study at home. I've talked with her few times on that topic and she always says that she will cut the visits, but she never does. I can not study and sleep from noise. She is very simple minded girl and it's seems that she simply don't understand that her behaviour is in any way wrong. I don't know what else to do since the talkng is not working with her and the landlord doesn't care.

If the landlord doesn't care, and she won't listen to reason, then your only choices are to put up with it, move out, or get her to move. Are you both on the lease? Have you tried to sit down and work out a calendar of times when half the week is yours and half is hers?
Is there a neighbor who could call the police for the noise?

Maybe if you went out in the common area and spread you books and notes all over the place and at least acted like you were studying , they would get the hint.
Or in front of her friends , ask her to keep the noise down as you are studying.

Now there's a good idea. Or simply tell the friends to leave. Your roommate might not get the message while her friends might.
