I had an early miscarriage 19 days ago. The gp said it was a complete miscarriage. I am still bleeding. Is this normal? Exactly a month after I went on the depo provera injection I had the miscarriage. My question is, am I still safe or is the depo not working any more. I have a 9 month old who still breastfeeds during mornings and afternoons. According to the gp I was about 6 to 8 weeks pregnant. Meaning I was already pregnant when I got the shot. It wasn't a planned pregnancy. Thank you

Yes, it may have been a complete miscarriage, but you still may need curetage, D & C, if you are still bleeding.
