I have a 1992 honda civic dx. It will start up but then shut off almost immediately. When I gas it-it runs afew seconds more but will die even when I gas it, after it sit. It will do same thing. I have changed fuel pump and filter. It is getting fuel and I can hear fuel pump. What can be problem? 2 weeks prior to this problem we had a radiator crack and there was antifreeze on engine. Can any sensors be doing this? I don't have a engine light on and I think car is so old you can't hook code meter to it. Any ideas?

The first and most simple thing is to check for vacuum leaks.

It's likely you need to replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil inside the distributor. Apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM. This is a common problem, especially on Civics of this generation.
