Do you want to be a singer or do you want to be famous? Those are not the same thing. You can sing anytime you want to. You can do local gigs and sing wherever you can. Join your school or church chorus and sing.

But getting famous is a totally different matter.

One suggestion is to have your parents search for some recording companies, call them, and even send them a video of you singing, if they agree. Being famous is what I think you are talking about, with your great singing voice. Good luck. They might convince someone in the music business to listen to you.

Youtube.

Get mom and dads permission, and put up a video of you singing on YouTube. That's how most singers are being discovered nowadays. If you're good, people will watch, and tell their friends to watch. It's easy to get millions of hits when you're really good. Do you know who Carly Rae Jepsen is? That's how she got discovered, on YouTube.

I have the same question! The voice is a no go till 15 :( your not alone! Try local restaurants and bowling alleys a skate rinks.. it all depends on what type of artist you are :)
