My 1992 honda accord lx won't start. It was running fine then the check engine light came on.. when I tested it it said the tdc sensor.. the car sat over night and when I started it the check engine light was gone but then after driving it came back on.. but the car was running fine. I was told to change the distibutor cause that's where the tdc sensor is located. So I changed the distributor and now the car doesn't want to start at all. I put the old distributor back on thinking maybe the new distributor was bad and still nothing.. anyone know what could the problem be??

The timing may be retarded too much. Loosen the 3 mounting bolts and rotate the distributor slightly counter clockwise (CCW). This will advance the timing.
If the problem persists, install an aftermarket Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil, to keep the cost down, in a genuine Honda distributor housing (all others are junk). This should solve your problem.
Afterwards, jump the Service Check Connector and set the timing with a timing light.
