I have an ETG test on Monday at 2 PM and I was a sober monitor for a party on Saturday night until 2 AM Sunday morning. I was around A lot of alcohol and was wondering if I could fail the ETG test just by inhaling all the alcohol around me? I'm a 5'5 male 135 pounds with a high metabolism.

There is no way to inhale alcohol fumes and thereby fail an ETG.

The only way to fail an ETG is by consuming alcohol. If you haven't consumed any, you'll be fine. If you fail, it's not because you were at a party where alcohol was being served, it will be because you drank alcohol.

What about the whole "incidental exposure" thing with hand sanitizers and stuff?

Did you wash your hands with the alcohol? If not, you're okay. Simply being in the same room as alcohol and breathing, won't cause you to fail an ETG. Hand sanitizer is put on your body, and is absorbed through the skin, that's why it can cause a fail. It's a very different situation than what you're describing.

Being around people drinking is not putting it on your skin, so unless you were drinking at the party you will pass.

So where you pouring the drinks on your hands and rubbing it in all night
