I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica the truck won't turn over. The batteries are good it just clicks what could be the problem? Could it be the fuel pump?

If the starter motor doesn't turn, but the starter solenoid (relay) "clicks" when the ignition switch is turned to Start, the problem is with the battery, starter solenoid, or starter motor connections. I'd begin by having the battery tested for free at an auto parts store. Also, ensure the battery terminals and cable connections are clean.

Do your headlights appear as bright as normal ? If they are dim , it is likely your battery ( or the alternator that charges it).

If yes , then it is likely one of the cables on the battery. If either are loose , tighten them. If they are not loose , loosen them and rotate them around on the terminal before re-tightening them to insure a good electrical connection.

If that doesn't work , check the cable that feeds the starter in the same manner.
