I worked Odd jobs for a couple who paid me in Cash. They have moved away and I only know their names. I can't find any info on them and I want to file my taxes. I earned a Total amount of $5400.00 for the year doing many things: garage sales, errands, babysitting, decorating, and I have a booth I keep full of things for sale at a Flea Market. Please advise me what to do if possible. :)

I'm confused by the "booth at a flea market" line - these people owned the flea market or that's other income?

Regardless, the $5,400 is self-employment income. You need to file Form 1040 with Schedule C and SE.

You declare the income on the Schedule C, then deduct your expenses on the Schedule C to determine what your NET income was.

You then assess the self-employment tax on the Schedule SE.

If the $5,400 was your only income, you will pay NO income taxes and, at most, $640 in self-employment tax.
