Hello, I went to replace the washer on the symmons flow control spindle. As no good deed goes unpunished, I ended up having to replace all parts from T4-through trim kit. Once installed I noticed I had little hot water. Came here, read and adjusted temp screw. All is well. Almost. The water pressure is low. It is as if the diverter valve/volume control is not opening all the way. However it is hitting the dome cover
In the correct spot I believe.
I am stuck. The only thing that is wrong now is the lowered pressure. Could it be the diverter valve volume control somehow? Your help is appreciated.

Have you checked the screens in water line?

Hi Dr Tom,
To sound like a complete fool, what screens. I saw none when replacing the parts also I have no issues anywhere else?

The screens are at the end of the hoses or in the inlet of water valve where hoses attach. Take off hoses to see the screens, remove them, and clean them before replacing them. If there are no screens it is possible that the orifices in the diaphragm of the valves are clogged up or the solenoid coils are bad (open or shorted).

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. There has to be a restriction somewhere, though.
