I have a 1957 water color created by Jean Robert Ipousteguy it is signed and dated and is in excellent condition I would like a value of this painting it is an original

The only way a painting can be evaluated is when it is 'in hand' meaning that it has to be seen and inspected by an appraisor. We are, of course, not able to do that here.

I only know Jean Roberts as a former Australian olympic athlete. I don't know the name as an artist.

Jean Robert real name is Jean Robert Ipousteguy a French artist born in 1920 he signed his art Jean Robert. I seeking to find out if his work has any value.

If you Google his name, there are quite a lot of websites,but we can't evaluate his painting. That will have to be done at a gallery. We don't evaluate paintings, but judging from his bio he was, or is quite well known.
