Will I still get my tax refund if I get a 4464c IRS letter? And what does a review (conducted by the irs) consist of??

IRS is reviewing your return for errors. It could release your refund or it could audit your return, releasing the refund after you provide additional info.

It doesn't ask me for additional info it just says under review. What do they do to review it and is there anyway possible to get my refund before they finish reviewing

No, you can't get a refund before they "finish." You don't understand. IRS is questioning your tax return, investigating it.

How do they investigate

They compare what you've submitted to what your employers have submitted. They ask for proof of your deductions and exemptions.

IRS is basically concerned with whether you have submitted an honest return.

So there's no luck on me getting my refund even if I called and they said that my return looked fine that there was nothing out of place?? Like do they ever send my refund and do the investigating after

If you filed an honest return, just be patient. You will get the refund eventually.

I am not annoyed; I was stating a fact. The IRS thinks there is something wrong with his return, and are investigating.

If the return he filed was accurate and honest, he has nothing to worry about.

Did u get your return yet? Got my 4464c on 2/2/13 my return was the same as always.It's been almost 4 weeks what's the deal.. return was accepted 01/25/13..
