I am 26 weeks and I been smoking pot to help me eat, help my nausea and my back pain. I need to know what will happen if I come up positive for THC when I give birth. Even though she's not in the world yet she means everything to me. My old Dr I had to stop seeing lied to me about everything so I can't call her and I haven't been able to find another Dr because of her. I don't want cps in my baby girls life.

What is your question? You've jeopardized the life/health of your unborn baby. What do you want to know? If she did mean "everything" to you you wouldn't be putting her very life in harm's way.
If CPS realizes you've been using, yes, you'll be investigated. In NY mother are being charged for "using" during pregnancy.
I find your excuses for using to be pathetic and weak.
If you are positive, your baby's urine and stool will be tested. If the baby is positive DCS WILL get involved and the child may be placed in foster care.
There are more effective medications to help with appetite and nausea that are legal.

Bullsh#&... I'm probably going to catch hell for this from a mod but I have to say it. You're a loser. Those excuses are pathetic and so are you. You can't even stop smoking long enough to have this baby that supposedly means everything to you? Yeah, I can see she is real high on your list of importance.
Also, you say you don't want CPS in your child's life... well, I have to say that this isn't the way to avoid that.
Do you even care what smoking pot will do to your baby as she is developing inside you? I doubt it matters to you.
Do what you want to yourself but if you can't be responsible enough to care for another life, then don't even bother. Stuff like this just pisses me off.

You'll also notice that she's 26 weeks with no medical care at the moment. She'll be staggering into J9's delivery room any time now in big trouble.
And, yes, you said it all - I was slightly kinder but, yes.

I don't have medical care because all my old Dr did was lie to me and my fiancé and she put on my records I was a high risk because of my blood pressure that wasn't high till she upset me and no one close to me will take high risk pregnancy's . I haven't been smoking because I don't want anything to happen to my baby I just know I might come up dirty if they can tell how much THC is in my body when I have her then I don't think there will be a prob, there wouldn't be much at all. I haven't ate I can barely get out of bed and I have to sleep next to the garbage can. I don't care what you say my baby is my world and if you read you can look up weed does not do anything to a baby. No withdraw no nothing less you read bull**** fine someone that don't know anything.
You can read all you want about withdrawal from weed on a baby, I experience it virtually every night I work in the nursery. Babies DO go through withdrawal and it's not a pleasant sight.

So you care about this baby more than anything, do you? Right, right...
Here's some reading if you care to bother... but then again, it would go against all your vast knowledge of how pot doesn't have any effects on a baby.

I'm not smoking right now OK. I might come up dirty but it would only be from a little bit of THC in my body it wouldn't be enuf for her to go through withdrawal. I been not smoking I just smoked at the beginning till maybe 17 weeks to 18 weeks and my blood is still dirty. Before I knew I was pregnant I smoke a lot and I Do care about my baby that's why I am so worried. And all the stress I am putting myself through trying to make sure I'm not going to get her taken from me is going to put my in the hospital. I am just trying to find out from someone that really knows so I can stop stressing a lot because that's not good for her either.

I don't know why you are asking the questions if you already know all the answers.
When the baby is born "we'll" find out who is right- you or a delivery nurse (and an ex-law enforcement officer and some interested people).
And, by the way, I think putting you in the hospital for any reason is a good idea.
