My DVD Drive is not working.
That's too bad. What's wrong with it?

Did the Drive come with the PC? If so, the brand should be indicated in your documentation. If you added it, you should have the documentation and disks that came with it.
If you have Windows XP (a key piece of info you left out), then I would just remove the drive from Device Manager and reboot to see if XP redetects it. If that doesn't work, you will need to reinstall the drivers.

Why not visit http:www.kadaitcha.cx/cdr_cdrw.html and view the main page for DVD drive problems.
All the best,
Nez. :)

If you still have the problem, try to provide more information, like did you install the drive yourself, if so, then are you sure it was connected properly, has it ever worked, did it come with the system, how old is it and the overall system.
Test the cables, make sure they are good, if you have another drive, try it out, see if it works.
Provide more info here if you still need help.
