So - how did folks do in the Star-Ledger trivia quiz that kept us so busy a month ago?
I got one wrong out of the 79 questions. I was happy to see that both Bing Crosby AND Barbra Streisand were acceptable answers for the question about the Oscar-nominated songs in four decades.
I was even happier to see that the writer admitted that the question about the Oscar-nominated songwriting brothers was poorly phrased.
As for the one I got wrong - my own fault. A question about the only movie to win an Oscar for best original screenplay that had no dialogue made me think it had to be a silent movie. I've even seen THE RED BALLOON, but I didn't look far enough down the list of Best Original Screenplay winners.
Ah well. As my mom (a Brooklyn Dodgers fan) used to say, "Wait'll next year!"
How did YOU do??
Bill
