Hi

I am an Australian resident (living in Melbourne) with a British passport that runs out on the 19th June 2013.

I am going on holidays on the 12th March 2013. I will be flying to England, Ireland, Portugal, back to England and then back home to Australia via Dubai around the 14th April 2013.
(My re entry visa expires in 2016)

Please could you advise if I need to get my passport renewed before leaving for my holiday?

Yes, many places, and not sure without checking each location, require a certain number of days valid to enter. Since you have to renew anyway, unless you are going to renew when in your home country on the trip, I would renew it before I left

You need a new passport before the trip...
