I have the same problem with tub still running while shower is on I replaced diverter and no change any other suggestions

I would, make doubly sure you are using OEM (original) parts and follow all directions which would include greasing the valve body with plumbers grease

OK thanks I will try once more then I guess its replace it all

You could also remove the water saver in the shower head... may allow more water to flow through the head creating less of a back pressure on the diverter... ;)
