My GF has a class 1 misdmeanor for assault and battery.. I'm going to drop the charges but the state of virginia says I can't do that basically.
But we were ready to move out of VA things just got out of hand one night
This her first offence my question is
Is she going to be put on probation and is there anyway that we will still be able to move.

She would need the permission of the court. The fact that you were the victim and originated the charges and are in support of it might help her case. She should speak with her probation officer and/or her attorney.
