My ex and I divorced in 2003. I pay $550/month in child support. I agreed to walk away from the house and the $50,000 equity in it. I just wanted out. A verbal agreement between us was that he agreed to pay me $6600 in exchange for walking away. I agreed and then he suggested that my support would just start in 2004 since $550 for a year was $6600. I said fine. 8 months ago my daughter showed up with a massive bruise on the back of her thigh. I in turn filed a report with CPS. CPS filed a report with the police dept in their area and she was picked up. No charges filed against her. Now he is coming after me for back child support in 2003. So according to him I am arrears $6600 11 years ago. Can they go back that far?
