In have had symptoms of some sort of infection, and I am having a hard time getting into the gyno to diagnose it. My symptoms have included slightly itchy just inside the vagina and on the outer areas. I also have a lot of discharge that is milky colored and smells like salty fish or something of that nature. My urine also smells like bacon or ham , and salty. I am sexually active , but have only been with one guy ever , and he is pretty sure he is clean. What could it be? Please help.

Yes that is an infection, have to have it tested to see what type. STD is possible, do not have sex again till it is tested and treated.

You have to find time to go to the doctor, period. It's your highest priority, even if it's embarrassing, or you have to call into work or miss a class or whatever. If you can't afford it, go to a free clinic or go to a doctor and work out payment arrangements. We can't diagnose you and it would be irresponsible to try. It could be an STD, and STDs can impact your long-term fertility so you need to treat it right away. It could also just be a yeast infection, but it's not appropriate to use the over the counter treatments until you've been diagnosed and at least have one experience with a properly diagnosed yeast infection so that you can properly self-diagnose a subsequent one.

So, sorry this isn't the answer you're seeking but you need to see a doctor immediately. As Fr. Said, do not have sex until you see the doctor.

We can't diagnose online, it's not possible. From what you describe it sounds like a possible yeast infection, but that's just a guess. You really will have to get in to see your doctor.

As for the "he's pretty sure he's clean" comment, that's really scary. Was he a virgin when you two started having sex? If not, if he's been with other women, then you can't assume that he's clean. This very well could be an STD. When you have sex with someone you're having sex with everything they've had sex with, and every one those people have had sex with, and everyone those people have had sex with, and so on and so on. If one of those people has an STD, it can be passed down the line. So, if he's had sex with anyone other than you, getting an STD is very possible.

Thank you for your reply. I am going to the doctors as soon as possible. I am just trying to find some answers for the time being. I hate being in the dark.
