Okay so here goes I am a convicted felon my record is 8 years old but I haven't had the money to have it expunged. I have two boys by another woman whom I have to pay $526 a month in arrears alone because I lost my job and have had difficulty finding another, I've been paying as much as I can possibly come up with every month because it's not like I don't want to take care of my children, it's just extremely hard for me to find work. I wasn't married to my son's mother and didn't even find out about my youngest until he was 10 months old when they immediately slapped child support on me, I am now married and have a 3 month old baby boy, but we can't even afford to live because I have to pay in EVERYTHING I can come up with and my wife was high risk in her pregnancy due to a blood clotting deficiency and still has not been released to go back to work. I literally do everything I can to find a job everyday, I put in applications go all around where I live make phone calls every single day but just can't seem to catch a break. I was thinking about moving to my wife's home town in tn to try and find work so that we can get on our feet, but I don't know if that would be a bad move I'm already behind on my child support and even though I've been paying 3-500 a month that's just covering arrears and while I'm covering those there are more stacking up... I just don't know what to do I feel like such a failure I can't even provide for my wife, step daughter and son, because it's literally taking every dollar I have just to keep myself out of jail in the past 2 years I have been locked up 3 times for child support for 45 days at a time and here in ga they don't even have a work release program, so I was just wondering if I were to move could I change my case over to them, I don't even get to see my oldest son, his mother doesn't let me have any contact with him whatsoever so what can I do? I need answers and have searched high and low but no one seems to understand what I'm going through what my FAMILY is going through and what my boys are going through all because I can't find a job here in ga some body anybody please help me...

Jurisdiction for a child support case goes with where the case was originally adjudicated or, if both parents have moved from that jurisdiction, where the children now reside.

Why haven't you gone back to court to have the award reduced if your income changed?

Why did you marry and have a child if you knew you had this other obligation?

You do not want it in TN, they will lock you up for arrears faster than any state I know of.

You need to go back to court and get the amount you pay set and based on your income
