I have had this purple bump on my pubic area for over a year. Every time I pop it it comes back. When I pop it it's just blood and puss. I have never found a hair.

The worse think you can do is 'pop' anything you have around your pubic area; I suggest a doctor visit to find out what it is if it keeps reacurring.
