I live in Chicago and have a high-ceilinged, three-car garage great for washing cars in (which I already do in the summer by just dragging a hose in from outside that I filter through a water softening filter). For winter washing, I would like to get a spigot with a hot/cold spigot installed so that I can use warm water to wash my car and not worry about frozen hoses/pipes. The garage is attached is attached and our pool's pump/filter tank is located inside so piping is definitely close. Besides what a plumber might charge for this, is it possible to have the spigots high along the wall (waist to shoulder level possibly)? I appreciate any feedback or suggestions about what else I might want to install for the purposes of car washing year-round. I apologize if the forum isn't pricing questions or inaccurate terms (suspect spigot wouldn't be the technical term here).

Wish I could edit out those typos, but don't see any editing function.

A lot of pricing depends on type of piping you have, how far from source, quality of faucet, spigot etc -whatever you want to call them. Best pricing solution is to get references from neighbors and then 3 bids. You may be in a union area, need permits etc.

Sounds like you are looking to have a hot and cold frost free hose bib/s installed. You will need to have a plumber come look to see where it is feasible to install these. Prices will vary greatly from area to area, so onsite quotes will be the only real way for you find out accurate cost's.
