I have a set of crane wall mount kitchen faucets with the dial-eze reverse compression cartridges from the 1970's. Both cartridges have been replaced in the past and have worked flawlesly until now,I had both handles set evenly to each other but what is happening lately is the hot side is requiring the handle to be turned further than where it was set originally to turn the hot water off.The cold handle is still where it was set originally and has not changed,so what is happening on the hot side, does the seat washer need changing or is it something else. The handles are out of sync with each other, any advice from somebody who has experience with these cartridges would be greatly appreciated. Also is it a good idea to use silicone grease on o rings.
