When I press on the brakes all the tail lights light up dim or do not work. If the blinker is on and I press on the brake it blinks fast let off and it blinks normal. Also the on the dash the blinker lights will light up not blink just light up. I have had the connectors on both sides replaced with used connectors from a junk yard once. Then replaced the connectors and boxes with new from the dealership because both were black and melted from shorting out. Worked good for 2 weeks but now they are lighting up weird again or not working. Please help.

It sounds like you may have some corroded ground connections or maybe some corrosion inside the lamp sockets themselves. Inspect all the bulbs for proper operation of each function.

I agree. The biggest problem with light circuits with bad grounds. I had a friend with a Saab 900 and she took it to 3 Saab dealers because all of her parking lights would go out if she stepped on the brake pedal. I took the rear panel off near the left rear light assembly and found the main ground to the light circuit was just about completely gone. I rewired the ground directly to the frame of the car and the problem never repeated itself.
