I have dyed my hair so many colors. The last color I dyed my hair was black, but I'm getting tired of it and I want to go back to my natural color. Only because I haven't seen it since I was 11. I use to straighten my hair everyday last year, but I stopped straightening it for about 6 months now (so proud of myself) and I want to know would Color Zap damage my hair? I don't want to damage my hair again, I've worked so hard at getting to reach my mid-back and actually look healthy.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! It would greatly appreciated :)

This is really a professional job or you can do major damage. It's a two-step process. First, they will use a chemical to strip the color from your hair. Then they will color it as close as possible to your natural color. They may determine to use deep conditioning as part of the process.
If you do this yourself and burn your hair too much from the ongoing processing, it could do enough damage that you'll have to get a short haircut, so I don't think it's worth doing it yourself. As a parent, I would pay for it if I had a daughter who wanted to go back to her natural hair color - with the agreement that if she colored it again she'd be grounded and have to pay me back.

Once you go back you can't go back.
