I've been denied from seeing my fiancé, because of a felony that I have from 2008

Write or contact the person in charge of the jail/prison and ask for the policy in writing - or where you can find it. This is not unusual nor is it cruel to either one of you. It's the price of being a felon.

Respect the restriction to avoid more trouble. And if you have a felony on your record, perhaps reconsider dating a guy who's in jail. How about moving away from the life of felons and the company of felons, and finding a better path and better company for yourself? The reason for these restrictions is quite simple - felons who hang around felons are far more likely to reoffend. Those who leave the criminal element behind and forge a better kind of society for themselves are far more successful in becoming productive members of society, and staying crime-free.

Write letters to the prisoner. Normally this is the rule that a person with a felony conviction is not allowed visits with the prisoner. Also often when released on probation they may not be allowed contact with you either

Hello don't:

How about moving away from the life of felons and the company of felons, and finding a better path Don't do that here. People on THIS board want LEGAL advice - NOT personal.
